What the contact form collects, and where it goes
vinsetra.com is one page and a contact form. This is the whole list of what the site handles and who sees it.
The contact form
When you send the form we receive what you typed: your name, your email address, your company if you filled it in, and your message. With it the site records the page the form was sent from, the country Cloudflare attaches to the request, your browser's identification string (the user agent) and the time we received it. The enquiry does not include your IP address.
It is stored in two places, both ours:
- A Google Sheet in the studio's Google Workspace account — one row per enquiry.
- A copy in our own inbox, hello@vinsetra.com, in the same Google Workspace. The copy is placed into the mailbox directly; sending the form does not email you or anyone else.
We use your details to answer your enquiry and for nothing else. There is no newsletter, no mailing list and no marketing tool behind the form. If you want an enquiry deleted, write to hello@vinsetra.com and we remove the row and the inbox copy.
Spam checks
The form carries a hidden field that people do not see, and a timer that measures how long the page was open before sending. A filled hidden field, or a form sent within three seconds of opening the page, is treated as a bot: the site answers as if the message went through, stores nothing from it, and logs only that a message was dropped and why. Your IP address is used to count messages for a few minutes, so one connection cannot flood the form; it is not stored with the enquiry.
If the sheet cannot be reached
If the Google Sheet does not answer, the form tells you so and keeps your text in place, so you can send it to hello@vinsetra.com instead. The enquiry you submitted is written in full to the site's log at Cloudflare so it can be recovered by hand; Cloudflare keeps those logs for about three days.
Hosting and analytics
The site is served by Cloudflare, which sees ordinary page requests. We see aggregate page counts in Cloudflare's analytics, which work without cookies and do not identify visitors to us. The site sets no cookies of its own, and its pages load fonts and styles from this domain only.
